The flat is served by a separate drive at the back of the house but guests are welcome to walk down the main drive to the village We are available on site most of the time for local information and tips Uppermill is a picturesque village on the edge Saddleworth Moor, right by the Pennine Way so great for walkers. There are also many popular events on in the Village - Whit Friday Band Contest, Yanks Weekend in August, Rush Cart Festival, Cotton Clouds Festival. The village has many restaurants, pubs and coffee shops as well as a village store, Post Office Deli and many independent shops and there is always a welcoming atmosphere It is only a 20 minute walk to Greenfield station where trains run to both Manchester and Huddersfield and Leeds, or a 5 minute drive with plenty of parking. Buses also serve the area including Oldham and Ashton Under Lyne.
